Musical Weapons

Part of a much larger project involving music, a band, anime and drawings I'll probably never do.

This is a mage staff inspired by guitars and a sword/blade inspired by keytars/keyboards.

I guess it's obvious where this is going.

Sylvanas Windrunner

This is a drawing of Sylvanas Windrunner from World of Warcraft/Warcraft III, which I started on ages ago, and have worked on from time to time ever since.

It kinda started off as a present, knowing that the person loves her a lot, but I realised quite quickly that is was a way bigger project than I thought. Instead I gave up on the present idea and just continued for fun.

Christmas Card

A (terrible) christmas card made for digital creation. Screenshots galore!

Most characters are created by me, while some are already existing but have grown to be some of my most 

played/loved ones. Sadly my dear Sereth from the world of TERA had to be left out due to game not patching properly, and instead my dads charming female Tizia took his place.

Kyrkogrim

En Kyrkogrim är ett djur (skyddsväsen) som vid bygge av en ny kyrka, blir levande begravd under ett av kyrkans hörn eller under altaret, för att som ande/spöke bli kyrkogårdens väktare. Kyrkogrimen ser till att skydda de döda och deras gravplatser från onda varelser och Djävulen själv, och fungerar lite som en ordningsvakt - både bland levande och de dödas kvarblivna själar. Den antar skepnaden av det djur den tidigare var, som t.ex.  hund, katt, tupp, gris, lamm, häst, bagge, osv, eller ibland skepnaden av hur liket nu ser ut. Vissa sägner säger att det ändrar sitt originalutseende till att bli mer monstruös och skräckinjagande.
Det finns även sägner som säger att se en Kyrkogrim betyder olycka eller död, medan vissa säger att beroende på vilket djur det är betyder det olika, som exempelvis att se en svart hund är ett tecken på död, eller ett trebent lamm är ett tecken på ett barns död. Dock är det vanligt för kyrkoherden att se Kyrkogrimen och för honom/henne är det obetydligt att se varelsen.
Berättelser om dessa skyddsväsen ändras beroende på vart du är i världen, för t.ex. enligt svensk mytologi kan det vara olika sorters djur, medan engelskans Kyrkogrim är svarta hundar endast, eller missbildade små mörkhyade människor.

Just denna Kyrkogrimen har jag alltid haft mina ögon på ändan sen jag flyttade till Trelleborg. Jag ser den varje dag när jag åker förbi med bussen på väg hem, och jag har alltid varit fascinerad av den. En konstig sak jag alltid gjort är att när jag ska gå förbi den tar jag en vid sväng runt om den, som om jag inte vill gå nära den, men inte av att den är obehaglig eller så, utan mer av respekt.
Jag får känslan av att den vaktar något, och håller ögonen på alla som går förbi. Den är ståtlig men samtidigt mörk och mystisk, och det känns som om den säger "Kom inte nära".
Den är vacker, men samtidigt grotesk på sätt och vis.

Gaijin-Rock

Made for a display called "Se Mig, Hör Mig" (translated See Me, Hear Me),

where we recieved the task to create posters for different music genres.

Mosaic picture

Made for an outdoors display with the theme "Myths, Legends and Nature".

My mosaic picture tries to resemble the myth of Lilith, the woman before Eve,

who turned on Adam because she didn't want to subjugate herself to him and were

independent, so she left and instead became the Mother of Demons.

It is said that man and female didn't look like each others in the beginning,

but when Lilith were gone and Adam alone, God had to create another woman,

which he did from Adams ribs. Sadly she's barely mentioned in the bible, and

should get way more attention. Would highly recommend everyone looking up this myth.

Yogscast Duncan fanart

This began more like a joke, when a friend and I found the youtuber Yogscast Duncans profile

on their site, and it said "Princess Lalna". I had just finished playing Borderlands, and got

struck by the brilliant idea of drawing him in a Borderlands boss introduction style.

Flufs

An idea of creatures called Flufs, little round furry things that are much like the creatures in 

The Golden Compass - they are a part of our souls. Each indivual person has their own Flufs,

that acts as both pet and friend, and will help it's soulmate in every possible way.
